RockScissorsPaper, or RSP, submissions are read by undergraduates, edited by undergraduates, and published by undergraduates. Mission Statement

The primary goal of this publication is to collect and distribute visual and written content produced by SRU students from a variety of disciplines across campus. To this end, the publication solicits short fiction, poetry, visual art, criticism, editorials, and reviews from Slippery Rock University (SRU) students on an ongoing basis on any subject. RockScissorsPaper aspires to be the primary online venue for student artistic voices of the SRU campus community. We encourage a diversity of perspective, content, and opinion, both in the selection process of the editorial staff, as well as in the makeup of the staff itself. The primary responsibilities of the club and its officers include the scheduling of monthly club meetings, solicitation of submissions from a variety of different students/groups on campus, selection of content to be published on the website (primarily through a blind peer-review process), the visual and content layout of a website, copy-editing of manuscript submissions, communication with authors/artists, and other duties related to the administration, promotion, and maintenance of an online publication.

Additionally, the RockScissorsPaper website broadcasts upcoming events within the SRU English department and campus events related to the production of written and/or visual art.
