National Poetry Month- CALL FOR POETRY
The Stone House Center for Public Humanities is looking for professors and students who would be willing to share their original poetry or read work by their favorite poets at an event to celebrate National Poetry Month!!! This event will explore and promote why the humanities matter and will be based around the following theme: what would life without art look like? This event aims to connect both the local and collegiate communities of Slippery Rock and Grove City. Where? Beans on Broad, a coffee shop in downtown Grove City, When? on Thursday April 11th at 7 pm.

Portmanteau Calls for Submissions
Portmanteau Slippery Rock University's Gender Studies peer reviewed and highly competitive academic journal is looking for submissions. This academic journal consists of prose, research essays, and art focusing on issues of gender, diversity, and intersectionality. All submissions can be sent to: portmanteausru@gmail.com.
