In the Forest, She Grew Fangs, by Stephen Spotswood
October 21, 2017 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
$10In the Forest, She Grew Fangs, by Stephen Spotswood and directed by Laura Smiley, is the story of Lucy who spends her days being tormented and mocked, ghosting through the halls of her high school. At 16, she’s come to believe her life will never get better. A bloody deconstruction of Little Red Riding Hood, the play takes the familiar elements of werewolves, teen lust, and high school bullies, experimenting with the question of just who’s the victim and who’s the monster.
